This option is if you wish to purchase the tuition for another individual. Upon request, we will provide a tuition certificate you can print and present at the holidays. Taught by renowned, Certified Intimacy Directors, Samantha Egle & D Granke, this workshop will explore the foundations of theatrical intimacy for the stage as well as provide practical methodologies for implementing the work in creative spaces. Egle & Granke bring significant experience in the intimacy field, with presence in regional theatre, opera, and academia around the country. This intensive brings valuable training and tools to theatre & academic professionals through an exploration of techniques, exercises, the practice of intimacy choreography and pursuit of creative risk. Through exploring dynamics & protocols for safe execution and spaces, consent, and best practices, attendees will leave equipped with valuable tools for safe pursuit of vulnerability. Practical exploration of performance and choreography techniques will boost the workshop participants' (and their future collaborators) confidence and creativity. This workshop is open to any and all in the theatre, including performers, directors, stage managers, movement choreographers, administrators, producers, designers, and more. Participants should be prepared to participate in exercises from the perspective of actors and intimacy directors. Questions or Curiosities? PAYMENT: Within 48 hours of your registration, you will receive a paypal invoice that can be paid via paypal or major credit card. You are welcome and encouraged to pay in full, but a minimum partial payment of $75 is due to save your place in the workshop. The full tuition is due January 3, 2025. If tuition is not paid in full, the secured seat will be released to someone on the waitlist.
