Two hands, two swords and you've got yourself a fight! From Henry IV and Joan of Arc to Jamie Lannister and Aragorn of Gondor, this weapon sweeps through time as smoothly as it sweeps through the air. We'll explore this ferocious yet fluid weapon and explore the storytelling of swordplay.

Join us in this 33-hour course as we engage with this versatile weapon, learning the foundations of safety in sword play, developing the skills of the confident swordsperson, and preparing you for a skills proficiency test with the Society of American Fight Directors.

Bonus! This class includes a 6-hour master class with Historical European Martial Arts Instructor, Jess Finley. We'll take a look at how this weapon was practically applied through a historical German and Italian lens.
